Well, to explain the above precious photo....we had a Dodgeball Tournament at HSM last weekend. Ty got picked to be on a team and they all painted their faces. If you notice, the goatee is in honor of his father! He's trying to look mean but I think he has trouble pulling mean off!

Well, Donnie finally got his wisdom teeth out! As long as we've been married dentists have been telling him he needs to get them out! This last dentist told him that his wisdom teeth had cavities in them. So out they came! He found an oral surgeon that would sedate him because there was NO WAY he could have it done awake! He did really well, this picture above is where he landed on the couch after I managed to get him in from the car. He was still a little dopey! He recovered really well, didn't swell or bruise and followed all the dr's orders for taking care of his mouth! And he's very happy that this is something he will never have to do again!

This is Copper, our friend Sam's dog. He came to stay with us for a weekend while Sam went to visit friends in Nashville. He's a big dog that has no sense of personal space or the fact that he weighs 100lbs! Charlie gets along well with him but its a good reminder to us that we are definitely a one dog family! Although Ty doesn't agree!

101 degrees!! This was the story for about every day last week! It was crazy! It was high 80's and low 90's by the time Ty was going to school in the morning! He had a baseball tournament in Myrtle Beach this past weekend and it was ridiculously hot! A few of the boys ended up getting sick from the heat. Ty seemed to manage ok; all us baseball moms have become extremely good at how to keep the boys cool! They came in 1st place this weekend so they were thrilled!

New addition to our family! After an experiment gone bad with a used car, we have bought a 2011 VW Jetta. We love Jettas, that is what we crashed in the accident in CA. They are really nice cars. The best part is that they are so much bigger now! Its manual transmission so its really good on gas! And it smells wonderful! We are really enjoying it and got a really good deal which makes it so much better! (the trunk is enormous so I should have no problems lugging Ty and all his gear to tournaments this summer!)
