Monday's are great because they are Donnie's day off. After a crazy weekend at church its always nice to have a day where your schedule is only dictated by what you want to do. And its unusually quiet here this morning as Ty is sleeping over at Tadgh's (pronounced "Teeg") house. We need to enjoy this Monday; next Monday we're going to be packed in three 15 passenger vans on our way to Daytona Beach for camp! A nice 10 hour drive with 38 people! I have requested some Gravol from Canada to keep everything under control!
Donnie and I went to see Dark Night yesterday, the new Batman movie. I think we were both expecting it to be amazing since everyone was raving about it and it broke box office records. But we were both disappointed. It was a good movie but not awesome. Christian Bale is good but not great although Heath Ledger was unbeleivable! We have recently seen Iron Man and it was so good, I think we were comparing it to that. But if you don't want to be left out, its worth going and paying matinee prices!
We have one more weekend in the main building for HSM and then we're moving to the new student campus! Its going to be so great and aside from the building having no furniture, it looks awesome! We don't have the net in for the basketball court but the hard wood is down and the fence is up. Everything is painted but needs that student touch. We're hoping to get a local tattoo artist to come in and do some art on the walls. Some of the walls are covered in sheet metal; we're trying to go for a warehouse feel. I'll try and get some pictures when its done. We're going furniture shopping today and get some couches and accent tables. So funny that the 2 of us who have never even bought our own furniture are now going to furnish this huge building! Hopefully we don't buy stuff that needs to be replaced in a year!
